12 Unforgettable Shows From 2019
Jan 20
By: Antonella Bocaranda
What even is a 2019 without all the amazing shows and moments we got to experience? It definitely wouldn’t have been as great as it was without any of these performances. These are the 12 shows that rocked our year:
1. Elton John
The Rocket Man himself. Elton John showed how he’s still standing and singing the blues unlike anyone else. A spectacular Saturday night that took us to outer space and back and reminded everyone how truly magical it is to see this legendary musician play the piano on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.
2. Jonas Brothers
We’re suckers for this one. The Happiness Begins Tour took us all back to our pre-teen, high-pitched, screaming years. From JoBros classics like "SOS," "When You Look Me In The Eyes" and “Lovebug” to new songs like “Cool,” “Only Human” and “Sucker,” we spent the whole night dancing and obsessing.
That’s just the way we roll at the #CENTEROFITALL ‼️ #soldout #HappinessBeginsTour #HappinessBeginsFTL ❣️ pic.twitter.com/cfxakoM7SV

3. Backstreet Boys
Uh huh, Backstreet’s back, alright! Talk about a #TBT. The DNA World Tour brought us a mix of old and new, and a ton of the dance routines we love. Not only that, but they also showed us their Florida Panthers love, while wearing Panthers jerseys for their last two songs. We can’t wait until the next time!

4. Blake Shelton
This cowboy gave us a night full of country during his Friends & Heroes Tour. With special guests like The Bellamy Brothers and an amazing performance, it was truly a night to remember.

5. P!NK
What a way to kick off the second leg of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour. Man, was P!NK amazing. Soaring through the air as flawlessly as you’d expect, while belting out her most iconic tunes, P!NK really knows how to capture everyone’s attention.
6. Muse
A combination of rock and theatrics like you’ve never seen before. That’s two things that took center stage at Muse’s Simulation Theory World Tour. It felt as if you were transported into a virtual reality with incredible 3D figures, lights, lasers and more. Amazing music and visuals made it a concert we’ll never forget.
So @muse blew our minds last night. 🤖 #SimulationTheoryWorldTour #centerofitall pic.twitter.com/mPjJJcG7uv

7. Post Malone
You know we say that we are better now, better now that we shared a night with Posty, and it’s true. The Runaway Tour hit all the feels and showed us why Post Malone is such a fan favorite. He’s our sunflower, we think our love for him is too much.
8. Luis Miguel
Ay, ay, ay. Latin pop icon Luis Miguel brought all the sabor we needed this year with his Tour 2019. Fans went crazy singing classics like “Ahora Te Puedes Marchar,” “Hasta Que Me Olvides,” “Culpable O No” and so many more.
9. The Who
British rock legends The Who came to shake the Amerant Bank Arena with their electrically euphoric Moving On! Tour. The highlight of the night was when they sang “Baba O’Riley,” closing out an incredible night.
10. Queen
So, this happened. Adam Lambert joined Queen on The Rhapsody Tour, lending his voice to one of the most famous rock bands in history. This crazy little thing called love we have for Queen grew even more after this night, but don’t stop us now. We need more.
LAST NIGHT WAS INCREDIBLE 🤩@QueenWillRock + @adamlambert

11. Iron Maiden
We can only describe this as an out-of-body experience. It was even better knowing they were kicking off their Legacy of the Beast Tour with us. Needless to say, we can’t get enough of those ridiculously awesome guitar riffs.
12. Michelle Obama
Yes, we had former First Lady and superwoman Michelle Obama on our stage as part of her Becoming: An Intimate Conversation with Michelle Obama book tour. It was truly astounding and eye-opening to learn more about such an important public figure, in her own words.
